Who we are

SGOWL (sgowl.com) is a Singapore nightlife information and booking-referral service. This policy explains how we collect, use and retain personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

WhatsApp conversations. When you message us, we receive your phone number, profile name and the contents of your message. Our booking team uses this solely to answer your enquiry and arrange bookings you request. Conversations may be handled by more than one team member on our business number.

Booking records. When you book through us we log the date, venue, group size and quoted spend to administer the booking and our venue arrangements.

Site analytics. We use aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising to you.

Consent and withdrawal

Messaging us constitutes consent to use your data to respond and arrange requested bookings. You may withdraw consent at any time by telling us in the chat or emailing us; we will delete your conversation data unless a booking record must be retained for accounting.

Retention

Chat conversations are retained for up to 12 months, booking ledger records for up to 5 years for accounting purposes, then deleted.

Age policy

Our content concerns venues serving alcohol. It is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors, and venues enforce their own age checks at the door.
